The Story of CHILDAURA
It All Begins with the Child
If you had told me years ago that my life’s work would center around nurturing young children and guiding their families, I probably would’ve smiled and said, “InshaAllah.” Deep down, I always knew I was called to serve this sacred trust—raising the next generation with love, intention, and wisdom.
My journey began in the world of Child Psychology and Early Childhood Education. I remember sitting in lectures, poring over books about brain development and human behavior, and realizing how much power—and responsibility—lies in these earliest years of life.
It became clear to me that if we want to change the world, we have to start with the child. The words of Dr. Maria Montessori echoed in my heart:
“Within the child lies the fate of the future.”
That became my mission: to honor the child, nurture their fitnah, and walk alongside families who share this vision.
Alhamdulillah, this was only the beginning of what has become my life’s work.

After immersing myself in early childhood education and child psychology, it was in the Montessori classroom where I truly found my purpose.
The first time I stepped into a Montessori environment, I was struck by the peace—the soft hum of children at work, the gentle clinking of materials being handled with care, the quiet focus and independence that radiated from even the youngest child. SubhanAllah, it was like witnessing fitrah in motion: children learning through exploration, with joy and purpose.
I earned my certification as a Primary Montessori Guide through AMI (Association Montessori Internationale), and for several years, I had the privilege of guiding children in beautifully prepared environments that nurtured their growth—not just academically, but emotionally and spiritually.
I watched as children, respected and trusted, blossomed into capable, confident individuals. There’s a certain barakah in giving children the space and freedom to unfold at their own pace, and it was in those moments that I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.
These years in the classroom shaped me—not just as an educator, but as a parent, a mentor, and a woman grounded in purpose.

Stepping into the Montessori Classroom
Bringing Montessori Home
Learning Alongside My Children
I’ll be honest… when I first became a mother, even with all my experience as a Montessori guide and my background in child psychology, I still had moments of doubt. Raising children—your own—is a completely different experience.
I knew I wanted to create a home filled with calm, intention, and love. I had this vision of a peaceful Montessori environment, everything in its place, quiet trays on neatly organized shelves… but SubhanAllah, life with little ones is rarely that picture-perfect!

My children are both wonderfully free-spirited (alhamdulillah!), and they’ve taught me more about trust, surrender, and patience than any training ever could. There were days I found myself wondering if I was “doing Montessori right,” or feeling guilty when the house wasn’t perfectly calm. But I realized that parenting with ihsan isn’t about getting everything right—it’s about being present, holding space, and offering love and respect, even when things feel messy. From the beginning, I made a conscious choice to implement Montessori at home. Even with a newborn, I found small ways to honor their fitrah—giving them freedom within limits, creating spaces that encouraged independence, and trusting their natural rhythm. I remember watching my toddler pouring water with laser focus… and then watching that water spill everywhere. And we laughed, cleaned it up together, and tried again.
These little moments became my greatest lessons: that nurturing children isn’t about control; it’s about trust. It’s about embracing their curiosity, energy, and messes… and finding the barakah in the process.
Raising my two children with a Montessori approach at home has been humbling, heart-expanding, and a constant reminder that we are all learning together.
And it’s exactly why I’m so passionate about helping other parents create homes where their children feel safe, capable, and loved—without the pressure for things to be “perfect.”
From the Classroom to the Community
As my children grew, so did I. I found myself feeling called to something even bigger than the walls of my classroom—or my home.
I realized that if I wanted to truly make a difference, it wasn’t just about nurturing children—it was about supporting the people around them: parents, teachers, and school leaders. SubhanAllah, there’s so much barakah in building a village. And I knew that my next chapter was about helping to create those villages for others.
So I expanded my work. I began mentoring teachers—new guides who were just stepping into the Montessori world, eager but sometimes overwhelmed. I worked alongside them, offering guidance on classroom design, lesson planning, and building meaningful connections with their students.
I also started consulting with Muslim school founders and owners, helping them launch Montessori programs that were rooted in both educational excellence and Islamic values. There’s something truly special about seeing a vision come to life—a classroom designed with intention, where children are free to explore and thrive in a space that reflects their deen.
And for the parents? That’s where my heart continues to live. I began offering parent coaching, working one-on-one with mothers and fathers who wanted to bring Montessori home but didn’t know where to start. I’ve had the honor of walking alongside so many families—listening to their hopes and worries, offering practical advice, and helping them create homes filled with love, peace, and purpose.
The Muslim Montessori Club was born from this desire to build a community. A place where like-hearted parents and educators come together to share, learn, and grow. It’s where we remind each other: you’re not alone on this journey. We are your village.

Guiding with Love and Intention
At the heart of everything I do—whether I’m guiding a child, mentoring a parent, or supporting a school—is a deep sense of purpose. I’ve always believed that raising and educating children is more than a responsibility—it’s a sacred trust.
When I discovered Montessori, it felt like a natural extension of that calling. Its values—honoring each child’s unique nature, cultivating character, and trusting the process of growth—resonated deeply with what I already held close.
As parents and educators, we are caretakers of the next generation. The work we do today—however quiet or unseen—is shaping hearts, homes, and futures. For me, this path isn’t just about education—it’s an offering—a way of showing up with presence, love, and intention.

My role is to remind families and educators that we are not alone in this journey. Raising children with intention is sacred work, and we’ve been given the wisdom, tools, and community to nurture them with care and purpose.
Through my consultations, courses, and the Homeschool Montessori Village, I aim to create spaces where families can raise their children in alignment with their values—rooted in love, respect, and a deep sense of belonging.
We are planting seeds we may never see bloom in our lifetime, but with the right intention and heartfelt effort, the impact can ripple for generations to come.
