Montessori Mentor Notebook

Each Monday, I will open my mentor notebook and share short, anonymized chapters from real homes, classrooms, and homeschool life. Expect grounded stories like those of the movement seeker who finds focus through purposeful work, the quiet twin who blooms with a softer approach, and the perfectionist who relaxes when mistakes have a place to land.

Montessori Mentor Notebook

Real stories. Practical steps. 🌿

Behind every behavior is a need.

This series will help you notice that need and meet it with gentleness and structure.

What you can expect

🔎 Lens: what is truly happening beneath the moment, through observation and psychology

💡 Practice: a straightforward, field-tested approach you can try in your setting

🩵 Grace Note: a reminder that growth is tender, sometimes messy, and always possible

Who I am

I am an AMI-trained Montessori guide with an M.Ed. in Montessori and a background in psychology. As a Positive Discipline educator, mother, homeschool coach, and founder of KONI, an AI-powered Montessori coaching platform, I support parents, educators, and microschools.

Privacy first. Stories are blended and de-identified. The focus is on supporting the adult and the environment, not labeling children.

What chapter would you like first: movement seekers, quiet starters, biting, siblings, mixed age shelves, or regulation? Please feel free to comment with your pick, and I will incorporate it.
